Smoked Dried Green Carolina Reaper - Powder

This smokin' hot Green Carolina Reaper powder is the newest edition to our Chilli Powders. We start with Smoke Drying the Green Reaper pods in our very own smoke house here on the farm, giving them a unique smoky, earthy flavour, while maintaining the extreme heat of the Reaper. These smoke dried pods are then blitzed up into a fine powder ready for you to use. Be warned, handle this powder with care. It is HOT!!!

The Carolina Reaper is currently listed as the hottest chilli in the world by the Guinness World Records. It was awarding this title in 2017, replacing the Trinidad Moruga Scorpion. It was created by crossing a Pakistani Naga with a Red Habanero type from St Vincents Island in the Caribbean. It has wrinkled, bumpy skin, although some can also have a smoother surface. It’s distinguishing feature is it’s scorpion-like tail.
