The Peter Pepper is quite rare and it is unknown where this unique variety originated from. It is often called “Penis Pepper” or “Peter Pepper Penis Red”, as when it is fully grown it’s shape resembles a miniature version of a particular part of a male’s body (the name says it all!).  

Flavour: When roasted their flavour and sweetness deepens. They can be used fresh, pickled, dried or powdered just like a jalapeno, but are quite a bit hotte
